İşletme Bölümü Son Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Mesleki Kaygı Düzeylerinin Çeşitli Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi: Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi Örneği

Abstract

The aim of the current thesis is to examine and determine the professional anxiety levels of senior students studying in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Business Administration Department in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Furthermore, with the light of the results, the present study aims to make suggestions as well as recommendations for the administrators of the Eastern Mediterranean University. The population of the research constituted from the students studying in the Faculty of Economics, Eastern Mediterranean University. Besides of this it could be lamanted that 114 was constituted the sample of the research that selected throughconvinient sampling method during 2019-2020 academic year. In this study, Kolmogrov-Smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk, Man-Whitney U test, (independent t test) and Kruskal Wallis H test (one-way Anova analysis) were conducted to interpret the findings of the study. In the light of the results obtained, it has shown that there is a significant difference between business and banking finance and business and economics students.In other words, the students who are educated in business administration have lower economical-social centered professional anxiety levels compared to banking, finance and economics students. ÖZ: Çalışmanın temel amacı Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’ndeki (KKTC) Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi’nin (DAÜ) İşletme ve Ekonomi Fakültesinde lisans ve yüksek lisans programlarında öğrenim gören son sınıf öğrencilerinin mesleki kaygı düzeylerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu çalışma, ayrıca elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi’nde idari kadrolarda görev alan yöneticilere elde edeceği bulgular ışığında önerilerde bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi, İşletme ve Ekonomi fakültesinde okuyan öğrencilerden oluşmaktadır. Örneklemini ise 2019-2020 eğitim ve öğretim yıllı içerisinde uygun örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 114 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Kolmogrov-Smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk, Man-Whitney U testi, (bağımsız t testi) ve Kruskal Wallis H testi (tek yönlü Anova analizi) uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen neticeler, işletme ile bankacılık finans ve işletme ile ekonomi öğrencileri arasında anlamlı farklılık olduğunu göstermiştir. Başka bir deyişle işletme bölümünde eğitim gören öğrencilerin ekonomi-sosyal merkezli mesleki kaygı düzeyleri bankacılık finans ve ekonomi öğrencilerine göre daha düşüktür.
