Abstract: In this thesis we focus on the blending type bivariate operators. We institute a modification of the blending type operators including four different parameters which can be considered as a new class or a generalization of the operators defined in [4]. We also study properties of these new type of operators on both the standard definition and Generalized Boolean sum case of them. More over we show the compatibility of the Korovkin type approximation theorem for these new families. In the last chapter some numerical results are given to analyze the behaviour of the proposed operators while the parameters are being changed.
