dc.description The article contains an outline of many tectonic theories at the beginning of the article. These explanations may help people who started recently to study tectonics in architecture. The article also based on the French author Marcel Proust. That might also take the attention of Proust's readers. Proust's books and novels highlight the physical dimension in life and its relation to memory. en_US
dc.description.abstract This is an earlier abstract-----The contradiction between technology and representation in the tectonics of architecture shows that the ethics of tectonic design is based on antagonistic approaches. Similar to this, the value system of the tectonics of bodies in love is also contradictory in that it is open to different arrangements of materiality and meaning. Since Marcel’s love for Albertine in M. Proust’s novel “In Search of Lost Time” can be seen as going beyond these antagonistic approaches, this article analyses the different arrangements of materiality and meaning in the different phases of their love and reflects them as possible arrangements of technology and representation comparable to architectural tectonics. This reflection makes the expression of different approaches to the value system of architectural tectonics, possible. en_US
