ÖZ:
Bu araştırma, son trimester gebelerin çocukluk çağı aşıları hakkındaki bilgi ve
tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Çalışmanın evrenini Gazimağusa Devlet
Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Polikliniğinde hizmet gören 239 gebe,
örneklemini ise 234 gebe oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri Katılımcı Tanıtım Formu,
Çocukluk Çağı Aşılarına İlişkin Ebeveyn Bilgi ve Görüş Formu ve Aşıyla İlgili
Toplum Tutumu-Sağlık İnanç Modeli Ölçeği kullanılarak toplandı.
Katılımcıların çoğunluğu 25-30 yaş aralığında (%47,44), lisans veya üzeri
eğitim seviyesinde (%53,85), çalışmayan (%57,26), gelirini giderine denk algılayan
(%59,40), ilçede yaşayan (%64,53), primipar gebelerden (%48,29) oluşmaktaydı. Yine
çoğunluk çocukluk çağı aşıları hakkında bilgi sahibi (%76,92) olup, bebeklerine
aşılarını tam yaptırmayı düşünmekte (%92,31) ve çocukluk çağı aşılarının zorunlu
olmasına inanmaktaydı (%64,96). Gebelerin aşıyla ilgili Toplum Tutumu Sağlık İnanç
Modeli Ölçeği alt boyutlarından aldıkları puan ortalamaları Duyarlılık Alt Boyutu için
16,16±2,93 puan, Ciddiyet Alt Boyutu için 15,12±3,19 puan, Yarar Alt Boyutu için
20,19±3,56 puan, Engel Alt Boyutu için 19,56±6,18 puan ve Sağlık Sorumluluğu Alt
Boyutun için 20,28±3,68 puan idi. Çalışmada Toplum Tutumu Sağlık İnanç Modeli
Ölçeği puanlarını etkileyen faktörlerin; eğitim durumu, çalışma durumu, ekonomik
durum, yaşanılan yer, aile tipi, parite ve çocuk sayısı olduğu belirlendi (p<0,05).
Araştırmada gebelerin “Toplum Tutumu Sağlık İnanç Modeli’’ ölçeğinden
aldıkları puan ortalamalarına dayanarak aşılara yönelik hassasiyetleri, farkındalıkları,
bilgileri ve sorumluluk algıları yüksek; olumsuz algıları ise düşüktür. Ayrıca gebelerin
bilgi ve tutumlarını etkileyen çok sayıda sosyodemografik etken bulunmaktadır.
Çalışma sonuçları doğrultusunda gebelerin çocukluk çağı aşıları hakkında bilgi
ve tutumlarını etkileyen faktörler dikkate alınarak özellikle riskli olduğu belirlenen
ebeveynler başta olmak üzere tüm gebelere yapılandırılmış aşı bilgilendirme
programlarının düzenlenmesi önerilmektedir.
This study was carried out to determine the knowledge and attitudes of last
trimester pregnant women about childhood vaccines. The population of the study
consisted of 239 pregnant women working in the Famagusta State Hospital
Gynecology and Obstetrics Polyclinic, and the sample consisted of 234 pregnant
women. The data of the study were collected using Participant Introduction Form,
Parent Information and Opinion Form Regarding Childhood Vaccines and the Vaccine
-Related Community Attitude Health Belief Model Scale.
The majority of the participants are between the ages of 25-30 (47.44%),
undergraduate or higher education level (53.85%), not working (57.26%), perceiving
their income as equal to their expenses (59.40%), living in a district (64%). ,53),
primiparous pregnants (48.29%). Again, the majority are knowledgeable about
childhood vaccinations (76.92%), they think about having their babies fully vaccinated
(92.31%), and they believe that childhood vaccinations should be mandatory
(64.96%). The mean scores of pregnant women from the Community Attitude Health
Belief Model Scale sub-dimensions regarding vaccination were 16.16±2.93 points for
the Sensitivity Sub-Dimension, 15.12±3.19 points for the Severity Sub-Dimension,
and 20.19±3 for the Benefit Sub-Dimension. It was 56 points, 19.56±6.18 points for
the Disability Sub-Dimension and 20.28±3.68 points for the Health Responsibility
Sub-Dimension. In the study, the factors affecting the Community Attitude Health
Belief Model Scale scores; Educational status, employment status, economic status,
place of residence, family type, parity, number of children were determined (p<0.05).
In the study, the sensitivity, awareness, knowledge, and sense of responsibility
of pregnant women towards vaccines are high based on the average scores they got
from the Community Attitude Health Belief Model Scale. On the other hand, their
negative perceptions towards vaccines are low. In addition, there are many
sociodemographic factors that affect the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women.
In line with the results of the study, it is recommended to organize structured
vaccination information programs for all pregnant women, especially the parents who
are determined to be at risk, considering the factors affecting the knowledge and
attitudes of pregnant women about childhood vaccinations.
