  • Test Field in sandwich Wave Space-Time 
    Halilsoy, Mustafa (Classical and Quantum Gravity, Institution of Physics (IOP) Publishing, 1997)
    Sandwich waves in the Einstein–Maxwell theory are expressed globally by introducing step functions at the boundaries. We show that a test particle crossing such a wave zone extracts energy from the sandwich wave.
