Abstract

We re-examine the power-law Maxwell nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) where the generalized Maxwell's Lagrangian is considered to be -alpha vertical bar F alpha beta F alpha beta vertical bar(s). In [1], where a d-dimensional static spherically symmetric spacetime was considered the pure electric field has been found to be E (r) = C/r(d-2/2s-1) where s = 0 should be excluded. Here in this study, we find analytically the corresponding NED Lagrangian which corresponds to this specific choice of s. Hence, the complementary black hole solution to [1] together with its basic physical properties and thermal stability are presented.
