Abstract

The paper is concerned with the oscillation of the nonlinear functional differential equation (r(t)psi(x(t))x'(t))' + q(t)f(x(t),x(tau(t))) = 0 Using the integral averaging techique, we obtain a number of new oscillation criteria which complement and extend the results reported in the literature. The results are illustrated with examples of nonlinear functional differential equations with delayed and advanced arguments possessing oscillatory solutions.
