Platonic solids are famous for their symmetry and the symmetry property is utilized in many applications. Of the five platonic solids, only the cube is used by many people to exhibit with shading and textures using OpenGL. This paper attempts to visualize all the platonic solids with shading, colour interpolation and textures. The problems associated with this approach are also discussed.
