Abstract
This study, designed as a descriptive research, focuses mainly investigate on perception of online technologies self-efficacy of the post graduate students who continue their education distantly (electronically). The answer of the question: What is the level of Online Technologies Self-efficacy of Online Learners? Was sought for in order to reach the purpose of the study. Data used in the study have been collected using the Online Technologies Self-Efficacy Scale (OTSES) developed by Miltiadou and Yu [1] and Demographic Questionnaire. All the students taking part in three different post-graduate (master) programmes in distance learning methods at Eastern Mediterranean University constituted the working group of the study. The outcomes of the study have been analysed using descriptive statistical methods. The findings of the study confirms that the online learners learning generally have a positive / high perception with regard to the technologies in the online environments. Another findings of the study specifies that the students have lower self-efficacy perception in chatplatforms and and conferencing systems.
