Abstract
This paper aims to implement the fuzzy TOPSIS method for solving the car selection problem. The fuzzy linguistic preference scale for measuring alternatives’ rating and criteria weight is developed using linguistic terms represented as triangular fuzzy number. The comparative analysis of available alternatives is carried out. The ranking order of alternatives is determined with respect to distance of closeness coefficient of each alternative to positive and negative ideal solutions.
