dc.description.abstractIn the present paper we construct q-Szasz-Mirakjan operators that preserve x(2). The rate of global convergence is obtained in the frame of weighted spaces. Furthermore, we obtain a Voronovskaja type theorem for these operators. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
