Öz Bakıma Katkı Veren Bakım Vericilerin Öz Yeterliliği Ölçeği'nin Türkçe Geçerlik ve Güvenirliği: Metodolojik Bir Çalışma

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı genel yetişkin popülasyonda kullanılmak üzere Ercole Vellone ve arkadaşları tarafından (2022) geliştirilmiş Self-Efficacy Scale of Caregivers Contributing to Self-Care “Öz Bakıma Katkı Veren Bakım Vericilerin Öz Yeterliliği Ölçeği'nin otistik spekturum bozukluğuna sahip, çocuğun bakımına katkı veren bakım vericilerin öz yeterliliğini değerlendirerek için Türkçe geçerlik- güvenirliğini yapmaktır. Araştırma Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Pandemi Çocuk Hastanesi’ne 2023-2024 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Pandemi Çocuk Hastanesi OSB tanısı almış ve çeşitli nedenlerle bakım için başvuran, araştırmanın sınırlılıklarına uyan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden çocukların bakımvericileri (N=500) oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak; otizm spekturum bozukluğu olan çocukların öz bakımına katkı veren bakım vericilerin öz-yeterliliği ilgili sosyodemografik özelliklerini değerlendirme anketi, Öz Bakıma Katkı Veren Bakıcıların Öz Yeteliliği Ölçeği ve Bakıma Hazır Oluşluk Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirlik çalışmaları kapsamında zamana karşı değişmezliği değerlendirmek için ilk uygulamadan dört hafta sonra test (n=65) tekrar uygulanmıştır.Test-tekrar test korelasyon katsayısı (.955) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur (p=0.000) Madde analizi sonucunda, her bir maddenin ölçek puanı ile olan korelasyon katsayısı 0,287 ile 0,691 arasında değişmiştir. Maddelerin kalan puanlarla olan korelasyonları ise 0,829 ile 0,863 arasında yer almıştır. Bu analiz sonucunda ölçekten herhangi bir madde çıkarılmamasına karar verilmiştir. Ayrıca, maddelerin ölçek puanı ile olan korelasyonlarının hepsinin p<0.01 seviyesinde anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliği, Spearman-Brown katsayısı (.836) ve Gutmann Split-Half katsayısı (.856) ile test edilmiştir. Ayrıca, ölçek toplam Cronbach Alpha katsayısı .568 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu sonuçlar, ölçeğin testi analizlerinin ve Cronbach Alpha katsayısının istenen düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir. Ölçeğin kapsam geçerliğini değerlendirmek için 5 uzmandan görüşü alınmış ve gerekli değişiklikler yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, "Öz Bakıma Katkı Veren Bakım Vericilerin Öz Yeterliliği Ölçeği"nin Türk toplumu için yeterli güvenirlik ve geçerlik gösterdiği saptanmıştır. The aim of this study is to evaluate the self-efficacy of caregivers who contribute to the care of children with autism spectrum disorder and to verify the validity and reliability in Turkish of the Self-Efficacy Scale of Caregivers Contributing to Self-Care, developed by Ercole Vellone et al. (2022) for use in the general adult population. The research was conducted at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Pandemic Children's Hospital between 2023-2024. The sample of the study consisted of caregivers (N=500) of children diagnosed with OSB at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Pandemic Children's Hospital and who applied for care for various reasons, who met the limitations of the study and agreed to participate in the study. In the study, the questionnaire for assessing the sociodemographic characteristics of the self-efficacy of caregivers contributing to the self-care of children with autism spectrum disorder, The Caregiver Self-Efficacy in Contributing to Patient Self-Care Scale and Preparedness for Caregiving Scale were used as data collection tools. In order to evaluate the invariance over time within the scope of the reliability studies of the scale, it was re-administered four weeks after the first administration. The test-retest correlation coefficient (.955) was found to be statistically significant (p=0.000). As a result of the item analysis, the correlation coefficient of each item with the scale score varied between 0.287 and 0.691. The correlations of the items with the remaining scores ranged between 0.829 and 0.863. As a result of this analysis, it was decided not to remove any item from the scale. In addition, it was determined that all of the correlations of the items with the scale score were significant at the p<0.01 level. The reliability of the scale was tested with the Spearman-Brown coefficient (.836) and the Gutmann Split-Half coefficient (.856). In addition, the total Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the scale was calculated as .568. These results show that the test analyzes of the scale and the Cronbach Alpha coefficient are at the desired level. To evaluate the content validity of the scale, opinions were received from three experts and necessary changes were made. As a result, it was determined that the " The Caregiver Self-Efficacy in Contributing to Patient Self-Care Scale " showed sufficient reliability and validity for the Turkish society.
