Simple data sharing security model based on MLS

Abstract

Multi-level security is a popular data sharing system. In this article we try to improve the security capability and flexibility of MLS. Our aim is to maximize security with respect to simplicity of system and keeping down the development cost. This system is based on MLS with minor modifications. The Group Security layer is used to add more flexibility and privacy of data. Also implementation of the system is considered with respect to secure communication techniques used. © 2008 Atilla Elçi.
