The purpose of this study is to determine which type of restaurant is more preferable for lunch in campus by students and in which way. In campus area there are basically two type of restaurants; fine-dining restaurants and fast-food restaurants. Two types of restaurants are compared in seven ways; speed of service, menu alternatives, food quality, service quality, price, environmental ambiance and social surroundings. AHP procedure is applicable to individual or group decision making. The compromise decision of the individuals' judgments can be calculated. Compromise importance matrices are gathered by questionnaire and then importance vectors were calculated. Finally, compromise decision was determined by taking the geometric mean of the importance vectors. © International Economic Society.
