K.K.T.C. Gazimağusa Bölgesinde Emziren Annelerin Sütlerindeki Aflatoksin M1 Düzeyinin Belirlenmesi

Abstract

This study’s purpose is to determine the presence of the M1 Aflatoxin in mothers’ milk in Cyprus Famagusta District. The study was conducted on a sample of 50 lactating mothers who breastfeed. In order to get sample from each mother, breast pump was bought and mothers’ milks were were stored in plastic cups at -20 0C. The amount of mitotoxin in the milk taken from the Mothers were analyzed at EMU- Pharmacy laboratory by ELISA method. AFM1 standards and breast milk samples absorbance values were evaluated by a special computer program Ridasoft Win (Version 1:44 Copyright © rbiopharm) which was prepared by R-Biopharm GmbH (R-Biopharm GmbH Dolivostr.10 D-64293 Darmstadt, Germany). Results: the aflatoxin amount in 20% of the mothers is 5 ng/l and above and 28% of them have between 5,1-7 ng/l, 30% of them have between 7,1-9 mg/l and 22% of them have over 9,1 ng/l.The average amount of aflatoxin in milk of all mothers who were enrolled in the study was 6.14 ± 3.57. The average amount of aflatoxin is 7.84 ± 1.72 in mothers’ milk whose aflatoxin amount is positive (> 5 ng/l). The region of residence of the mothers participating in the study, age group, according to education and occupation were found in the amount of aflatoxin breast milk showed no statistically significant difference (p> 0.05).According to moldy food in the milk of mothers consuming, there is not a statistically difference between the amount of aflatoxin (p> 0.05). As a result, the most useful way to use breast milk is to inform people about the importance of mother - infant nutrition for infants and efforts should be made for the period is not linked to any health problem of infant nutrition. Çalışma 50 emzikli anneden anne sütü örneği alınarak yapılmıştır. Anne sütleri analiz yapılıncaya kadar kapalı plastik kaplarda -20 0C’de saklanmıştır. Anne sütlerinin, mikotoksin miktarları DAÜ- Eczacılık Fakültesi Laboratuar ortamında Elisa yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. AFM1 standartları ve anne sütü örneklerinin absorbans değerleri R-Biopharm GmbH (RBiopharm GmbH Dolivostr.10 D-64293 Darmstadt Germany) tarafından hazırlanan özel bilgisayar programı Ridasoft Win (Version 1.44 Copyright© RBiopharm) ile değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuçlar: Annelerin %20’sinin sütünde bulunan aflatoksin miktarı 5 ng/l ve altında, %28’inin 5,1-7 ng/l arasında, %30’unun 7,1 – 9 ng/l arasında ve %22’sinin 9,1 ng/l ve üzerinde olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına alınan tüm annelerin sütünde bulunan aflatoksin miktarı ortalaması 6,14±3,57 bulunmuştur. Sütündeki aflatoksin miktarı pozitif olan (>5ng/l) annelerin sütünde bulunan aflatoksin miktarı ortalaması ise 7,84±1,72 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya katılan annelerin ikamet ettikleri bölgelere, yaş gruplarına, eğitim ve meslek durumlarına göre anne sütünde bulunan aflatoksin miktarları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olmadığı saptanmıştır (p>0,05). Sonuç olarak yapılan bu çalışmadaki 50 adet anne sütü örneğinde AFM1 saptanamamıştır. Annelere bebek beslenmesinin önemi ile ilgili bilgilendirmeler yapılmalı ve bebeklerin yetişkin döneminde herhangi bir sağlık sorununun bebek beslenmesine bağlı olmaması için çaba gösterilmelidir.
