İstanbul Yerel Medyasında Mülteci HaberlerininBarış Gazeteciliği Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

The concept of migration, which is one of the most important problems of to-day, occurs when people are realized for security and economic reasons. Refugees who are forced to emigrate from their own countries due to security reasons and live in a different country are widely covered in the press. In this context, the Syrian refugee problem that started in 2011 under the inf-luence of the Arab Spring is becoming an important problem in various parts of the world. The local media is the media where the solution to the regional problems is raised. It is observed that the news in the press is transmitted to the society with vari-ous discourses and that discourses affect individuals. Peace journalism indicates the elimination of social differences and the peaceful analysis of discourses in the media. In this context, the negative news of the Syrian refugees in the Istanbul local press will be analyzed through critical discourse analysis technique and examined within the framework of peace journalism. ÖZ: Günümüzün önemli sorunlardan biri olan göç kavramı insanların güvenlik ve ekonomik nedenlerden dolayı gerçekleşmesiyle oluşmaktadır. Güvenlik nedeniyle kendi ülkelerinden göç etmek zorunda kalan ve farklı bir ülkede yaşamını devam eden mülteciler basında geniş yer almaktadır. Bu kapsamda, 2011 yılında Arap Baharı etkisiyle başlayan Suriyeli mülteci sorunu dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinde önemli sorun haline gelmektedir. Yerel medya konumu bakımından bölgesel sorunların dile getirildiği çözü-mün oluşturulduğu medyadır. Basında yer alan haberlerin çeşitli söylemlerle topluma aktırıldığı ve söylemlerin bireyleri etkilediği gözlemektedir. Barış gazeteciliği toplumsal farklıklarının ortadan kaldırıldığı ve medyadaki söylemlerin barışçıl yollarla çözümlenmesini belirtmektedir. Bu kapsamda, İstanbul yerel basınında yer alan olumsuz yönde haberleştirilen Suriyeli mülteci haberlerini eleştirel söylem analizi tekniğiyle çözümlenerek barış gazeteciliği çerçevesinde incelenecektir.
