Abstract
In fixed-wireless data networks, poor performance experienced by users, such as excessive delays during file transfers, might be due to a heavily utilized base station or due to the location of the users relative to the base station. A principal component analysis based methodology that may be used by content providers for analyzing the root cause of performance problems is presented. The methodology requires use of only flow level Internet measurements collected at content provider's site and provides an effective diagnostic tool for network managers.
