A tale of two economies: Development dynamics of India and China

Abstract

This new and important book analyses the development dynamics of India and China comparing the growth differentials of these two Asian population superpowers. The analysis draws on theories, empirics, policies and problems to elucidate the reasons for such growth differentials, and to throw some light on issues concerning the possibility of convergence and the sustainability of their growth momentum.
