Abstract
Our paper aimed to assess the interconnections among green transformational leadership, emotional intelligence (EI), green service offering adaptability, green creativity, and green recovery performance. Data collected from hotel frontline employees (FLEs) were utilized to gauge said interconnections. The findings from the PROCESS macro suggested that green service offering adaptability and green creativity sequentially mediated the link between green transformational leadership and green recovery performance. As hypothesized, the positive effect of green transformational leadership on green service offering adaptability was stronger among FLEs high on EI. EI strengthened the indirect impact of green transformational leadership on green recovery performance via green service offering adaptability. In congruence with what had been hypothesized, EI amplified the indirect effect of green transformational leadership on green recovery performance via green service offering adaptability and green creativity. Our paper delineated implications for developing effective green management strategies and practices.
