Abstract

The shifted-1/N-expansion method has been used to study the energy levels for a 2D donor impurity in the presence of an arbitrary magnetic field. Exact analytical expressions for the energy levels at zero- and high-field limits are obtained. The calculations are carried out to the third-order correction of the shifted-1/N-expansion energy series. The results appear to be in excellent agreement with those of Martin et al.
