Corrigendum to “Axially symmetric exponential metric” [Physics of the Dark Universe 43 (2024) 1–5/101412](S2212686423002455)(10.1016/j.dark.2023.101412)

Abstract

The authors regret not being aware of the original work [1], which first introduced the vacuum metric in cylindrical coordinates, and consequently omitted citing it in the referenced article [2]. The two-parameter metric (23), which interpolates between the vacuum solution (18) and the Yilmaz exponential metric (1), along with the associated properties, was newly presented in our work. Nevertheless, as our article demonstrates that this metric is a special case of a more general two-parameter family of solutions derived in our study, we believe that it still offers original and valuable contributions to the literature.
